Y/n grew up training in the Red Rook starting at age 4. She trained alongside Natasha and defected with her, too. They’re best friends. Almost sisters. They became SHIELD, then Avengers together. Then, one day, they’re fighting Loki. Loki sees a chance to test a spell on Y/n and opens a portal. Y/n falls through and disappears completely. The Avengers assume she’s dead.
