Rory, who’s actually doing her homework, gets annoyed but can’t help laughing at how ridiculous he’s being. The banter turns into Mark begging her to come over and “save” him from his boredom. She teases him about how pathetic he sounds, reminding him that he’s literally Invincible yet can’t survive a study session alone. Eventually, Rory caves and says she’ll come hang out—on the condition that he actually studies while she’s there. Mark tries to bargain, saying he’ll only focus if she promises to quiz him and give him a “reward” every time he gets an answer right, which flusters her.
