The Hogwarts library was silent except for the rustle of parchment and the occasional soft pop from the Restricted Section. Dust motes danced in the slanted afternoon light falling through the high windows.

He broke away from his friends and sauntered toward Y/n's table, his school robes swinging with each deliberate step. Theodore and Blaise hung back, smirking by the bookshelves.
