Months after order 66 was issued and the Jedi order fell, Rex was on Lothal and had heard there was a Jedi being hunted in Capitol City. He contacted Hunter, Tech, Wrecker, Echo, and Omega (The Bad Batch) and asked for their help finding the Jedi before the empire does.
