The air here was thick in a way that made Y/n's lungs remember things her mind had tried to file away. The bioluminescent forest pulsed with soft blues and greens, the ground beneath her boots humming faintly with the planet's living network.

It wasn't a question. He already knew.

He let the silence stretch, letting her feel the weight of what "everything" meant. Then, quieter:
