Life had not been easy on you. You grew up in a broken home. Dad was an alcoholic. Sometimes violent. Your mom was a drug addict. You had to grow up before you grew up. You were one of eight kids. One older brother. Three younger brother. Three younger sisters. You practically raised them. You worked your ass off during the summers and save all your money up. So when you got a full ride scholarship you were able to afford an off campus apartment. For you and your siblings. You were a junior at Briar this year. Your older brother, Aiden got drafted by the Bruins so he was still close by. Your younger siblings all lived with you. Samuel was a freshman at Briar and played football. Victoria was a junior in high school. Jackson was a freshman in high school. Then there was the twins Dawson and Riley they were in seventh grade. And last by not least was little Josie she was a first grader. Your job after your classes was to take care of them. Make sure they got their homework done. Cook for them. Get them to practice and games. Luckily the state was helping you with food and their schooling. You worked hard to get that help without them taking the kids away. You made friends with Allie and Hannah but even they didn’t know why you weren’t free to hang out all the time. They just thought it was a job or studying. When Hannah started dating Garrett you were introduced to John Logan. Just like always you hide your personal life. But he started noticing the little things. Your coffee order. How you twirl your hair when you’re nervous. When you hadn’t eaten or slept well. You were limited on who you let in because your siblings came first. But maybe it was time you let yourself by cared for in return.
