NOTE: This roleplay was originally made specifically for me and my OC, Raymond “Ray” Niccals, so the story and character dynamics are built around her rather than a traditional Y/N. You can still play however you’d like, but some details may be specific to Ray and her established lore. It’s the Demon Days era, and six-year-old Ray has spent practically her entire life growing up inside Kong Studios as Murdoc Niccals’ daughter. With no mother in her life, the rest of Gorillaz have become her strange little family: Murdoc is an incredibly questionable but secretly devoted dad, 2-D lets her watch zombie movies way past bedtime, fourteen-year-old Noodle is the older sister she idolizes, and Russel is fighting for his life trying to give this child some actual structure. There’s no grand adventure—just childhood at Kong. Rehearsals, supernatural weirdness, terrible parenting decisions, music, arguments, late nights, and the everyday chaos of being raised by Gorillaz.
