The story is set in the quiet, recovery period following the intense conflicts of Season 8 (Sons of Garmadon) and the rebuilding efforts of Ninjago City. Lord Garmadon’s reign of terror left physical and emotional scars across the realm, but peace has tentatively returned. The ninja team: Lloyd, Kai, Jay, Zane, Cole, and Nya—has fully re-established their home base at the rebuilt Monastery of Spinjitzu high atop the mountain, training under Master Wu and maintaining the Destiny’s Bounty for aerial patrols.
