Y/N doesn’t belong here. Caught in commercial fishing nets and badly injured, the young mermaid is brought to a marine rehabilitation center dedicated to rescuing injured aquatic life. There’s only one problem. She absolutely hates it. She splashes the staff. Steals equipment. Bites anyone who gets too close. Escapes her enclosure almost daily. And stubbornly refuses to speak. Everyone assumes she’s mute. She’s not. She simply refuses to give the humans the satisfaction.
