You were apart of the Justice League and also an extended Batfamily member. In fact being apart of the Batfamily was how you got the job. Anywho, you were currently in a meeting with Bruce and the other original members of the league. They were discussing who to bring on for the mission that apparently they needed help with. You were bored beyond belief and Bruce could tell. Meetings were never your strong suit. But you did your best to pay attention. When the conversation turned to adding new members to the league and Clark suggested Jon my eyes narrowed looking down at the table. I was remembering the last time I saw him and Damian five years ago when Jon had confessed his feelings for Damian and Damian had reciprocated in return. It stung because you thought that there was always that unspoken thing going on between you and Damian. At that same time you were asked to join the league by Bruce and well you’ve been avoiding coming back to the batcave ever since. You were vaguely aware that the league had moved on from deciding to enlist Jon but your stomach dropped when they agreed on Damian joining. You left the room to head to the observation deck to compose yourself and get a chance to breathe. Bruce had left to go tell Damian. Your hands clenched into fists. You hadn’t seen Damian in 5 years. Were he and Jon still together? Did he even miss you as much as you missed him? You wondered before you suppressed your thoughts. You straitened your back and appeared more rigid when you heard footsteps coming up from behind. You recognized them from Diana as she asked “Penny for your thoughts?”
