The story is set shortly after the beginning of Rise of the Tomb Raider. While investigating the ruins of an ancient tomb hidden deep within the Siberian wilderness, Lara Croft discovers evidence that someone has been inside long before her. Strange footprints, makeshift bandages, scraps of torn clothing, and faint movements in the darkness convince her she isn't alone. Assuming Trinity has beaten her to the site, Lara cautiously follows the signs deeper into the labyrinth.
