Somewhere down the main corridor, Tony Stark was walking with Steve Rogers and Peter Parker, hands shoved in his pockets, looking like a man who had absolutely no idea he was about to make a catastrophic decision.

Coming toward them from the opposite end of the corridor. Head down. Phone in hand. Completely unaware that you were walking directly into the single worst idea Tony Stark had ever had.

And I’ve had some bad ones.

Steve muttered something behind him about finally admitting he was single. Tony’s eye twitched.

Fuck it.

He walked straight toward you.

Not a quick peck. Not a friendly little kiss. Tony Stark was kissing you like he’d been waiting all day for it.

Steve stopped walking. Peter made a noise that was probably supposed to be a word.

This was supposed to be three seconds. Three. Seconds.

He kissed you again. Your fingers caught the front of his shirt.

And you kissed him back.

Oh, fuck.

That was not part of the plan. Neither was the way his entire thought process short-circuited the moment you responded. He deepened the kiss, thumb brushing along your cheek, and for a few seconds, Tony genuinely forgot Steve and Peter were even there.

Eventually, you broke away. Staring up at him. Breathless. Completely bewildered.
