Mace and Liam are in the same class. In the beginning of the year they didnt really acknowledge eachother that much, until Maisie noticed she kinda thought he was good looking and told her hb who eventually became friends with him and told him she said that. At that point she didnt have any feelings for him she just found him very attractive. Then they started to communicate more at school and she kinda began having feelings for him and she wasnt denying it to herself she just didnt want to actually do anything about it because well her background with boys and she promised herself she wouldnt get involved with boys again so she pretended she didnt like him and was mean to him. When he started getting feelings he did the same thing because of his history with girls.
