All it took was one time. Now your pregnant and show up to the slytherins dorm after the father rejected you. ( I know it’s another pregnancy story but I can’t help it. I’m obsessed)

@IzzyD7The dungeons were cold, as they always were in late October. The stone walls seemed to absorb what little warmth the torches offered, leaving Y/n standing in a semicircle of flickering light outside the Slytherin common room.
She'd been standing there for what felt like forever. Her hand hovered over the stone, frozen.
In her other hand, clutched so tight her knuckles had gone white, was the little plastic stick. The one with the two pink lines in the tiny window. She hadn't been able to make herself let go of it. Couldn't put it in her pocket. Couldn't drop it. It was like it was fused to her palm now, part of her skin.
The cold seeped up through her shoes, through her thin robes. She should have brought a jumper.
Just knock. She told herself. Just do it.
But her arm wouldn't move.
She could imagine how it would go. The door swinging open, Theo's lazy grin. Or maybe Blaise, raising an eyebrow at her like he always did. And then one of them would see her face, really see her, and the teasing would die on their lips. And they'd ask her what was wrong. And she would have to—
Her breath hitched. A wet, pathetic sound that echoed in the empty corridor.
She squeezed her eyes shut. A few tears escaped despite it, tracking down her cheeks, cold against her already chilled skin.
She had gone to him first. The father. She'd made herself go to him, her stomach churning the whole way there, and when she'd finally managed to get the words out—I'm pregnant—his face had gone through about five different emotions in two seconds before settling on something hard and closed off.
"Get rid of it."
No hesitation. No asking how she was. No discussion. Like she'd asked him to help her move a heavy trunk and he just didn't want to be bothered.
And then he'd walked away. Left her standing there in the corridor, staring at the space where he'd been, holding the stick so tight she thought it might snap.
She didn't know where else to go.
She knew it was stupid. They weren't her friends. Not really. They were just... the boys from her house. The ones who made jokes at her expense in the common room, who called her princess in that mocking drawl, who pretended they didn't care about anyone or anything.
But they were also the only ones who ever noticed when she had a shit day. The ones who'd fall silent when she walked in looking rough, exchange glances, and then one of them would offer her a seat at their table near the fire. No questions. Just quiet.
She remembered last year, after her mum had owled her about her dad leaving. She'd sat in the corner of the common room, pretending to read, doing a shit job of hiding her red eyes. And Draco had walked past, paused, and then dumped a box of chocolate frogs on her lap without a word.
"Eat those before I change my mind," was all he'd said. And then he'd gone to join the others.
She swallowed. Hard.
She lifted her hand—the one not holding the test—and knocked.
Three times. Quiet.
Her heart was pounding so hard she could feel it in her throat.
For a long moment, nothing. She almost turned and ran. She could still run. She could go to the hospital wing. Or the library. Or just find some abandoned classroom and hide until she figured out what to do—
The stone shifted. A sliver of torchlight spilled into the corridor.
Malfoy. His hair was slightly disheveled, like he'd been lounging, and he was wearing a black jumper with the sleeves pushed up to his elbows. His expression was shifting from irritated to something else—surprise, then sharp attention, taking in her pale face and wet cheeks.
His eyes dropped to her hand. To the plastic stick clutched there.
For a horrible second, he didn't say anything. His gaze lifted back to her face, gray eyes scanning her like he was reading every detail.
"Y/n," he said slowly. "Are you alright?"
The question cracked something in her chest. She opened her mouth, but nothing came out. Just a shaky, useless inhale.
Draco's jaw tightened. He glanced back over his shoulder into the common room, then stepped aside, holding the door open wider.
"Get inside. You're freezing."
