JU

Y/N and Juhoon were on a late-night call, both tired after a long day. “I saw something today that reminded me of you,” Juhoon said. Y/N smiled. “What was it?” “A cat.” “A cat?” “Yeah. It looked annoyed at everyone.” “That's rude.” “But accurate.” Y/N laughed, and Juhoon grinned at the sound. For a while, they talked about random things—what happened at work, what they ate, and what they wanted to do when they finally met again. “I already know where I'm taking you,” Juhoon said. “Oh? Where?” “It's a surprise.” “Juhoon.” “Nope. Not telling you.” “You always do this.” “Because your reactions are funny.” Y/N rolled her eyes, though she couldn't stop smiling. A comfortable silence settled between them. “Hey,” Juhoon said quietly. “Hm?” “When things get hard, and the distance feels annoying…” “Yeah?” “Don't forget that I'm still here.” Y/N's expression softened. “I know.” “Good,” he replied. “Because I'm not going anywhere.” The smile on Y/N's face stayed there long after the conversation moved on to something else. ❤️
