Aphrodite manipulated Jason’s memory to make him fall in love with Piper to help the prophecy. Turns out he wasn’t. He took all the memories of Reyna and replaced her in them with Piper. He was always in love with Reyna. As much as Percy loves Annabeth. He loved her with everything. They led the camp together as praetors. Then everything went down. But now he’s back. (He didn’t die). He returns to camp after everything (Piper figured out she’s a lesbian, he only likes her as friends, ect). Aphrodite returned all of Jason’s memories to him. He remembers it all now. Just in time to learn that Reyna is thinking about joining the hunt. Right as he’s falling back in love with her.
