In 1932 Mississippi, the sheltered daughter of a cult leader finds a wounded stranger bleeding at the edge of her father’s isolated religious commune. Taking Remmick inside should be an act of Christian mercy. Instead, it invites hunger, temptation, and something ancient through the gates. As blood becomes intimacy and salvation begins to resemble possession, Y/N must decide which is more dangerous: the faith that raised her, or the vampire teaching her how good sin can feel.
