Former world champion figure skater Y/N is forced into early retirement after a career-ending injury, leaving her to rebuild a normal life as a college student. Roman Stark, the university’s short-tempered hockey captain, has secretly been in love with her for years—so deeply that he can’t even watch her past skating videos without breaking down. To Y/N, Roman is just the nice, familiar guy at every party who loves to playfully tease her. But as shared campus life pushes them together, Y/N notices his fierce temper vanish only around her, slowly realizing that the comfortable friend who never pitied her past is the one person quietly holding her future together.
