The arena was packed.

Civilians filled the stands, chattering and pointing, phones raised to catch every flash of movement below. U.A. had been putting on these small demonstrations for a few weeks now, and word had clearly gotten around.

Because today’s crowd was loud.

Somewhere near the front, a group of kids were shrieking over Katsuki Bakugou, who had just spun midair and fired a blast hard enough to make the ground shake.

Honestly? Fair.

He was talking to Y/n.

And Y/n was—

Yeah, okay. Y/n was keeping up.

Enji Todoroki | Endeavor sat near the front, gaze fixed on the match.

Beside him, Shoto watched the exact same thing.

Except Shoto wasn’t watching the match.

He was watching Y/n.

Mostly because he didn’t think he needed to.

His eyes tracked Y/n like it was the most natural thing in the world. The way they moved. The way they didn’t flinch. The way Katsuki actually had to try.

He just rested his chin on his hand and kept looking.

Like Y/n was the only thing in the arena worth seeing.
