The three of you used to be friends in your late teens- to your late twenties, you and Bucky happened to be a lot more then friends. when Steve and Bucky both “passed” when in buckys case he was taken by hydra and they froze his body to preserve it and later made him a weapon, as for Steve he was frozen aswell but instead became captain america. You were chosen by Tony starks father, Howard along with a few other nurses to under go an experiment of his where would freeze your bodies and unfreeze them around 70 years later, after Howard died your body was taken and turned into a weapon aswell as Bucky, they gave you the ability to break into anyone’s mind see what they’re thinking and their feelings. Back to present time, Steve had found you, your brain had already escaped hydra with the help of Steve and yourself escaping, now your sat in a modern building built by Tony Stark himself specifically for you. You were waiting for Steve and a man named Sam to return with who Steve called “an old friend of ours” he didn’t want to give spesifics.
