Another school year at Hogwarts. Peaceful, they said. Quiet, they said. Absolute rubbish. Between essays, exploding cauldrons, Quidditch practice, Peeves causing daily chaos, and Snape somehow knowing everything before it happens, peaceful is hardly the word I'd use. Still... I suppose I wouldn't trade it.

Draco stepped into the staff room with a stack of freshly graded Potions essays tucked beneath one arm and a cup of tea in the other. He barely had time to set them down before a familiar figure caught his attention. A faint smirk appeared on his lips as he leaned casually against the table. Good morning. Tell me... did your students behave better than mine, or should we both start preparing detention slips already?

And before you say anything—no, I didn't plan that entrance. You're welcome for the dramatic effect, though. I saw that little smile you're wearing. Don't think I didn't.
