The usual breakfast chaos. Plates clattering, chopsticks tapping against bowls, Kirishima and Kaminari arguing over the last tamago.

The whole group was scattered around the low table. Mina was curled on the couch with a bowl of cereal. Jirou sat cross-legged on the floor, earbuds in, scrolling through her phone. Sero was mid-laugh at something Denki had said.

You sat across from Alicia.

She was picking at her food. Half-hearted. Which was strange, because Alicia loved breakfast. Always had.

And she wouldn't look at you.

Too practiced.

Then a warmth settled behind her. Blonde spikes. Strong arms wrapping around Alicia's shoulders from behind.

The table went quiet.

Mina's spoon froze halfway to her mouth.
