Today all the soldiers in Korea finally return home because they’ve finished their military training. You accompany your friend Ana to pick up her boyfriend, Niki. When you arrive, many families, partners, and friends have come to welcome the other soldiers. Ana runs to hug Niki, while you stand quietly waiting for them. You notice a soldier standing alone in front of the bus with no one beside him. That’s Heeseung. He looks sad because no one came to greet him. Heeseung grips his bag straps tightly as he watches other soldiers being hugged by their families, partners, and friends.
