Right now, though, it was the boring kind of normal. Aizawa Shouta stood at the front of the room, looking like he hadn't slept in approximately four years. His voice was a flat, exhausted monotone as he droned on about the fine points of subterranean rescue operations. Several students were fighting valiantly to stay awake. Kaminari's head was doing that little bob-and-jerk thing. Asui had given up entirely and was resting her chin on her desk.

Then the classroom door slid open without a single knock.

The first thing anyone registered was that the person standing there was... striking. Genuinely, distractingly gorgeous. The kind of beautiful that made the morning light from the hallway windows look like it was personally escorting her into the room. The second thing everyone registered was that she was not a student, not a teacher anyone recognized, and definitely not supposed to be here.

The third thing was what she did next.

She walked straight up to Aizawa, who had stopped mid-sentence. She leaned in, pressed a light, casual kiss to his cheek, and said —

Kaminari's head snapped up so fast there was an audible crack. Mina's jaw hung open like a broken mailbox flap. Kirishima and Sero slowly turned to look at each other, their faces frozen in identical expressions of pure, unadulterated confusion. Bakugou's eye twitched.

And Aizawa — Aizawa just sighed through his nose like this was a regular, mildly inconvenient part of his day.
