Hotarubi is one of seven active houses at Darkwick Academy, advised by Professor Moby. Led by Captain Subaru Kagami and Vice Captain Haku Kusanagi, the house is known for its carefree, art-loving students and traditional Japanese aesthetic, featuring a rain-soaked garden and mist-covered grounds.
