(same canon characters as season 3 stranger things) it’s the summer of 1985. karissa has completed her first year of college, and is now back home in hawkins for the summer, staying with her mother and brother, claudia and dustin henderson. when karissa was hanging out with nancy, nancy mentioned that jonathan told her that his mom (joyce byers) said that chief jim hopper needs a “babysitter” for his new adoptive daughter el, even though she’s 14, and doesn’t really need one. that’s how karissa ends up with a big fat crush on the chief of hawkins police, jim hopper, and way more kids on her hands than she planned for- el, max, lucas, mike, will, and of course her own brother dustin.
