Two years after y/n’s abusive father is sent to prison, y/n finally begins rebuilding her/his’s life alongside the close-knit group of friends who became her/his safe place. But there’s one person she/he can never seem to accept. Every time she/he looks at Jamie Bennett, y/n sees his older brother who once tormented her/him with relentless bullying that eventually turned physical before disappearing from her/his life.
