In Harry’s first year Harry Potter discovers he is a wizard on his 11th birthday and goes to Hogwarts. He makes friends with Ron and Hermione and learns about magic. They discover that someone is trying to steal the Philosopher’s Stone, which can give eternal life. Harry faces Voldemort, who is trying to return to power, and stops him.
