Y/n and Barry Allen have been dating since they were sixteen. She’s his confidante, his best friend, and the love of his life. Joe sees her as another daughter. She’s a vital part of Team Flash. But Iris and Y/n have always butted heads. For some reason, Iris has just never liked Y/n, though she plays nice for Barry’s sake. One day, Iris pushes too far. Y/n and her get into an argument. Y/n snaps. Iris is fully convinced she’s in the right and only tells her side of the story. Barry has known Iris since they were kids. She’s his sister in every way but blood. So when Iris tells him her side of the story, he believes her. He doesn’t think to ask for Y/n’s side of the story. So, they break up.
