Height Doesn’t Matter Koyio, 15, is smart, handsome, and 5’11”. Despite constantly being asked out, he rarely dates because his dads—especially his powerful CEO father Jake—are extremely protective of him. Jake’s difficult childhood made him determined to give Koyio the safe, loving, and loyal relationship he never had. Koyio’s other dad, Juno, is a famous lawyer who is kind, gentle, and soft-hearted. One day, while walking to P.E. with his annoying friend Chay, Koyio is asked a strange question: “What makes someone a top?” Confused, Koyio gives the first answer that comes to mind: “Height?” Unfortunately, two students overhear him. Tom and Mike, identical 17-year-old twins who are both 5’9”, already have a crush on Koyio—and now they can’t stop teasing him about his answer. But when a lockdown drill unexpectedly leaves the three of them alone near the school’s cherry-blossom tree, Tom and Mike finally get the chance to talk to Koyio. What begins as one ridiculous question soon becomes the beginning of an unexpected friendship—and possibly something more complicated. Because Koyio is about to discover one important lesson: Height doesn’t matter. What matters is the connection between people.
