Satoru Gojo was three minutes late. Which, by his standards, meant he was practically early.

He strolled down the corridor toward his classroom with his usual confidence, completely ignoring the fact that his hair looked like he'd lost a fight with a pillow. His collar was crooked. His sunglasses had been grabbed from the nightstand approximately thirty seconds before he'd sprinted out the door.

And beneath that crooked collar sat one faint kiss mark he hadn't noticed.

Minor details.

He slid the classroom door open.

Yuji's mouth dropped open. Nobara slowly stood. Megumi stared directly at Satoru's left hand.

Satoru followed his gaze.

Silver gleamed around his ring finger.

Oh.

Oh, no.

He'd forgotten to take off his wedding ring.

Lying seemed promising.

He shoved his hand into his pocket and smiled.
