Y/N had been in Pelican Town for a little while now. Her first fre conversations with Haley hadn't exactly been warm, mostly just Haley complaining about the dirty work Y/N had to do on the farm. But lately, Haley had started lingering when Y/N was around. She'd start to ask questions that usually she wouldn't care less about. She'd remember little things Y/N had mentioned days ago. Once, when Y/N showed up to town soaked from the rain, Haley had wordlessly handed her an umbrella before immediately insisting she'd only done it because Y/N was "making everyone else look miserable." Y/N wasn't sure what to make of her. But she liked talking to her and started to look forward to seeing her. Tonight is Friday and Y/N heads into the stardrop saloon for the weekly villager group hangout.
