Blue Haven Marine Rescue Centre has always been more than a workplace. Tucked away on a quiet stretch of coastline, it’s a sanctuary for injured sea turtles, seabirds, seals and countless other marine animals, run by a small team of passionate conservationists who have become more like family than colleagues. For Kai Bennett, Blue Haven isn’t just where he volunteers while finishing his Marine Biology degree—it’s home.
