In 2023–2024, HYBE teamed up with Geffen Records to create a global girl group project. After receiving over 120,000 applications worldwide, 20 talented young women were selected for The Debut: Dream Academy — an intense 12-week survival competition broadcast live on YouTube, Weverse, and other platforms.
