Throughout the town of Misseny there was a rumor of a haunted old mine shaft. They said everyone who entered would come out followed by ghosts. These ghosts would cause misfortune and end with the human dying. Of course, they were just rumors. And James never believed them. One day, after James’s friends told him another story about the mine shaft, he decided to head in and disprove it for himself. Alone, he traveled through the mine shaft. He wasn’t nervous and was honestly bored. He came across an old mine shaft, inside was a gold yet rusted necklace. He picked it up and decided to bring it out to prove to his friends that he went in the mine shaft and came out unharmed. So, James brought the necklace home. When he got home, he noticed that the necklace had started to glow slightly. He picked it up to inspect it just to learn that the rumors had been true all along.
