You knelt down, gathering her into your arms. She smelled like sunshine and strawberry shampoo. Her dark hair, just like her father's, was pulled into two messy pigtails.

Suguru chuckled, reaching down to gently catch her before she could run any farther.

Go inside, kiddo. I need to talk to your mom real quick.
