Futo Detectives · Y/n story by @noxxer

The afternoon sun beat down on the narrow path that cut through Futo's riverside park. It was the kind of day that made you forget the city's darker corners—until a hiss cut through the air.

???

HONK.

The first one charged. Then another. Then the whole feathered horde was after you, wings spread, necks outstretched, beaks snapping with terrifying precision.

Shotaro Hidari

HEY!

A blur of dark coat and white shirt dove between you and the flock. Long legs kicked out, scattering the geese with a furious flurry of honks. The man landed in front of you, arms spread wide, breathing hard but grinning.

Shotaro Hidari

You okay there? Man, those things are vicious. Futo's finest feathered gangsters, I tell ya.

He offered you a hand. Up close, he looked like he'd stepped out of a detective movie—slicked hair, sharp jaw, a red scarf fluttering in the breeze. There was something in his eyes, though. Something softer than his pose suggested.

Shotaro Hidari

Name's Shotaro. Shotaro Hidari. And you are... my newly rescued civilian?
