You and Garrett Graham have hated each other since you were kids. Your dads played professional hockey together for years. You really didn’t know each other well. You didn’t know his past with the abuse from his father. He didn’t know about your mother basically starving you for figure skating. But you still couldn’t stand each other. He started skating when he was young following in his dad’s footsteps. Your mom made you learn figure skating because “hockey wasn’t a place for girls.” That was another reason you hated Garrett. Your family moved your freshman year of high school when your dad got traded. You never thought you’d see Garrett again until you transferred to Briar junior year on a scholarship for figure skating. You walk to your dorm and meet you two roommates not realizing you just transferred to the same school as your enemy.
