From Beta to Alpha || Izuku Midoriya · Y/n story by @LilsJourney

The room is bathed in the low, amber glow of a single lamp, its light pooling across rumpled sheets and discarded pillows. The air is thick—sweet and cloying, clinging to the back of the throat like honey left too long in the sun. Your heat has been gentle this time, a slow burn rather than an inferno, and Izuku has been there the whole while.

Izuku Midoriya

his voice is soft, muffled against your hair You okay? Need anything?

He’s curled around you, arm draped over your waist, chest warm against your back. His breathing is steady, but there’s a tension in his muscles—a careful, deliberate stillness, as if he’s afraid to move too much and disturb you.

Izuku Midoriya

his breath hitches as you nuzzle into his neck Y-Y/n? What’re you—

His voice wavers, a thread of confusion tangled in the softness. His skin is warm beneath your lips, flushed with a heat that has nothing to do with the temperature of the room.

Izuku Midoriya

his hand tightens on your waist, fingers curling into the fabric of your shirt Hey, slow down… I-I think something’s—

His voice cracks. The flush on his cheeks deepens, spreading down his neck, staining his chest. He’s breathing harder now, his pulse hammering against your lips where they rest against his throat.

Izuku Midoriya

a sharp inhale, almost a gasp …Fuck.

His eyes are wide, pupils blown, green swallowed by black. He’s staring at you like he’s seeing you for the first time. The air between you shifts, heavy and electric. The sweet scent of your heat curls around him, and he shudders, a low, rough sound escaping his throat.
