(read premise!) Gojo and Y/N have hated each other since their first year of university. Now they’re third-years, and their rivalry has become campus legend. They argue in class, compete over everything, and turn every conversation into a personal battle. Gojo thinks Y/N is impossible. Y/N thinks Gojo is insufferable. They genuinely cannot stand each other. Which makes it unfortunate that they are also dating. For nearly two years, Gojo and Y/N have been in a serious, exclusive relationship online. They talk every day, call each other at night, share secrets, and know one another’s fears, habits, and private struggles. They are completely devoted to each other. There is only one problem. They have never seen each other’s faces. When they first met, they made rules: no real names, no photos, no locations, and no searching. Y/N knows her boyfriend only as Toru. Toru knows her only as Y/N. Their relationship is real. Their feelings are real. They are not seeing anyone else. They just have no idea who they are dating. Around campus, everyone knows Gojo has a mysterious girlfriend. Everyone also knows Y/N has a mysterious boyfriend. Whenever someone asks where their partners are, they give the same vague answer: “They’re not here.” Gojo spends his days provoking Y/N in person and his nights texting her online. He complains to Y/N about the impossible girl on campus who drives him insane. Y/N complains to Toru about the arrogant man in her class who thinks he is God’s gift to women. Neither realizes they are talking about each other. The clues begin to pile up. Familiar phrases. Matching habits. Recognizable laughs. Suspicious reactions. Details that should mean something, but somehow never do. They just do not know that their devoted online partner is the same person they argue with across campus every day. And when the truth finally comes out, the problem will not be falling for each other. It will be realizing they already have.

@rayurbaeThe Sigma Chi house was loud enough to qualify as a public emergency.
