Anyway, hello, hi, welcome to my new whump post (not associated with Whumptober, I’m making a Dean post on that later today, hopefully). Today, we have Sinner!user meeting the Angel they hoped wasn’t real: Castiel. And he has found their soul wanting. I was watching a brilliant edit today of Season4 Cas where Dean tells him that he is a heartless son of a bitch and Cas just went “yes, as a matter of fact, we are. And?” aaaaaand you can guess where the inspiration came from. T.W.: Religious trauma, crisis of faith, guilt, shame, internalized sin, divine judgment, existential dread, emotional devastation, early-seasons Castiel, no comfort (he does not comfort you), implied past violence, implied past sins, prayer, religious imagery, Catholic guilt, being seen and found lacking, no happy ending (yet — but honestly, maybe never), implied depression. Please don’t summon a reaper in my comment section, I *know* I’m getting flamed for posting even more angst. (Don’t shoot the deputy, aka the writer???)
