Y/n’s parents were scientists. Before they died, they gave her elemental powers. Because they died, Y/n was sent to an orphanage, but she didn’t like it there so she ran away. She grew up on the street, alone, hungry, just surviving. When she was eight, she accidentally leveled a whole city, which brought the attention of Fury. He took her in and trained her, taught her how to control her powers. Y/n never liked being told what to do, let alone follow orders. Fury decided to let her move in with the Avengers. She started in midtown high too where she met Peter Parker, a boy she grew to care about a lot.
