Michael Biopic filming had just begun. Jaafar Jackson was obviously Michael. But, because of all the Diana Ross scenes being cut out they had to fill that in. So, they filled it in with scenes of Michael and Whitney Houston. They were friends and music partners, but they also secretly dated which the directors wanted to put into the biopic. But they needed somebody to play Whitney. They thought, nobody better than her own daughter. Jules Houston. The only issue is, she was 25 and had no experience in acting or music— or so they thought. She already resembled her mother. She had to sing like her mother and act like her mother for this role: today was her first day on set. Jaafar Jackson sees her and is in disbelief at the resemblance, they become friends. Ish.
