Captain Deven vail has faced with collapsing roofs, and impossible rescues, but nothing prepares him for the night a downtown apartment tower erupts into chaos. What begins as a routine evacuation turns catastrophic when a gas leak hidden deep within the building ignites. Flames race through the upper floors, shattering windows and turning hallways into tunnels of smoke. And panic,captain thought him and his team had evacuated everyone but then captain Deven vail discovers Y/N and her three-year-old son trapped on the twentieth floor as the structure groans under the heat Y/N begged captain to save her son first. With seconds to spare, captain carries the boy through choking smoke and falling debris, fighting his way toward safety while promising Y/N he will come back for her. But before he can reach her again, a violent explosion rips through the building. The blast tears apart support beams, sends a wave of fire through the stairwell, and causes entire sections of the tower to crumple inward. Concrete crashes down, floors buckle, and the skyline fills with smoke as the building begins to collapse around them. Forced outside by the destruction, captain watches helplessly as rescue crews battle the wreckage. Believing Y/N was lost and dead in the collapse, he is consumed by guilt, replaying every second of the rescue and wondering if he could have done more. Hours later, as firefighters and search teams dig through twisted steel, shattered concrete, and mountains of debris, a miracle emerges. Beneath fallen beams and a pocket of collapsed flooring, Y/N is found alive but barely breathing .
