In an affluent, gated Black suburban enclave during the mid-2000s, high school life is all about status, presentation, and subtle social warfare. The story follows Y/n, the school's most beautifully high-maintenance and bratty girl, and her boyfriend Brayden, a popular but fiercely detached, nonchalant guy who is completely whipped by her dramatic antics. While navigating regular hallways, exclusive house parties, and local hangouts, their tight-knit circle—including loyal enablers and slick, envious rivals—constantly tests Brayden's quiet patience and forces him to show the suburban circle that he absolutely does not play when it comes to his girl.
