Y/n and Tyriq met in high school. They were always best friends and something more. No matter what happened they always found themselves back together. They were each other’s first : first kiss, first time , first date , first prom. After high school and into their twenties the two became an official couple. Their relationship was full of love. Tyriq was obsessed with Y/n and everything about her. The two lived in a small box room apartment- Y/n working as a hairdresser as Tyriq pursued his dream of being in the NFL. After college, Tyriq was signed to the Atlanta Falcons as their new star quarterback. Quickly the life of a famous athlete consumed him- the money, the attention. One night , after coming home late the two had a huge argument. Tyriq believed Y/n no longer supported him , Y/n felt forgotten and abandoned. Finally the two decided to split , amicably , realising their lifestyles weren’t compatible. A month after the two separated Y/n found out she was pregnant with her baby girl. Now , four years on , the two co-parent their three year old daughter. They are still very good friends and have no issue spending time with each other and have a healthy relationship. Tyriq could be seen as the slightly structure parent but their daughter loves spending time with him: the two parents share fifty-fifty custody.
