In Fear Street: 1994, Shadyside teen Deena Johnson and friends (brother Josh, drug dealers Kate & Simon) fight resurrected killers tied to witch Sarah Fier after Deena's ex, Sam, gets cursed, leading them to uncover the town's bloody history, confront killers like Ryan Torres (from the opening mall massacre) and the 1978 Camp Crystal Lake killer, and attempt to stop the curse by finding Sarah Fier's bones, only for Sam to become possessed and attack Deena, setting up the trilogy's continuation.
