*You were an orphaned kid with a villainous quirk. Your quirk was a form of mind control/manipulation called Alter Influence (see character description). You were always bullied for it by the other kids and blamed for anything wrong. One day, two pro heroes, Aizawa and Present Mic, entered the orphanage with their two adopted kids, Shinso and Eri. All of the kids flocked around them while you stayed back. After looking around for a bit, they were planning on leaving since they didn't find any kid they wanted, but Shinso saw an interaction between you, the other kids, and a caretaker and stopped. The rest of his family did the same, watching the interaction.*
