Y/n and Draco are friends. She has always shown him kindness, something he appreciates more than he could ever imagine. He has a soft spot for her. They are both good friends with the rest of the Slytherins— Theo, Blaise, Pansy, Lorenzo, etc. But Draco notices they’ve been leaving Y/n out recently. It hurts his heart since he has always seen and admired her warmth, kindness, and humility. He finds himself pained when he notices her warm smile falter any time the mask slips and she shows her less confident and sadder side before covering it right back up again. The group sits by the Black Lake when Y/n tries to contribute to the conversation, and gets shut down by Pansy rudely, disregarding her words and interrupting to say something else.
