Draco Malfoy and Story have been together for almost a year, though he never made it official, because he always ends up pushing her away when they get too close. He is, however, in love with her, no matter how much he tries to lie to himself about it. She has always treated him kindly even when she had every reason not to. Throughout their earlier years at Hogwarts, she was one of very few people to always offer him a warm genuine smile or a helping hand when he needed one. She is beautiful— not model skinny but still with a nice body, though deep down she’s very insecure, even though she never shows it. She has a huge heart and is one of the most thoughtful people you could meet. She sometimes gives him handmade gifts that took her hours, like intricately woven bracelets that she made in colors that remind her of him, or enchanted music boxes that play his favorite songs to cheer him up when he’s sad. He feels so strongly for her that when she’s hurt, it causes a physical ache in him. One night, he picks an argument with her. A classic Draco method of pulling away when things get too serious and he gets afraid. But he takes it too far. He uses her worst insecurities against her (her weight, her personality), spitting insults that hurt her more than anything. He will instantly regret it.
